Estimator

Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for the development and management of the estimating function ensuring commercially effective preparation of tenders, estimates and development proposals. You should have:

• A personal interest in sustainable and responsible construction
• Sound knowledge of estimating procedures, measurement processes and commercial costing
• A proven track record in estimating design and build construction projects in the value of £250K to £5M ideally in residential and commercial sectors with a knowledge of timber frame
• Good communication skills, be self motivated and able to meet regular deadlines
• From an estimating or surveying background you will ideally have 5+ years experience and be qualified to at least HNC/ HND level.
